TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Hello Dear Client!
The Terms and Conditions of your purchase are contained in the Purchase Agreement, set forth below, and by continuing with the purchase, you are acknowledging and agreeing to each of the statements set forth herein. In addition, the Purchase Agreement and these Terms and Conditions incorporate by reference the Terms of Service, which are additional terms of your use of the Website and Pressed Floral Services. By checking that you have read the Terms and Conditions, which you are required to do as a condition of the purchase, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to each of the terms of the Terms of Service and the further statements set forth below.
Section 1: Before Blooms Arrive to Pressed Floral
- I understand that I am solely responsible for the shipping or hand-delivering of my blooms to Pressed Floral, including all costs associated with that shipment, whether utilizing the Bloom Shipping Box or shipping on my own terms.
- I understand that I am responsible for labeling my bouquet and the contents of my package with my name and frame order number before shipping. If this is not included, my blooms will still be preserved in the condition they arrive in. These unclaimed blooms will remain in Pressed Floral’s shop for 6 months, and if they remain unclaimed, they will be discarded.
- I understand that ribbons, pendants, or personal items can only be included in a frame, provided they have been labeled on the Client Information Sheet before sending them to Pressed Floral and are thin enough to be sealed within a frame. I understand that if my contents are not labeled/identified beforehand, they may be missed and discarded.
- If I choose to purchase, I fully understand what Bloom Protection and Shipping Protection is. I understand that Bloom and Shipping Protection are non-refundable.
- I understand that if my bouquet is delivered outside store hours, Pressed Floral will not be available to accept the package.
- I understand it can take up to 3 business days for a photo to be uploaded to the Pressed Floral app upon delivery confirmation from my shipping carrier.
- I understand that the turnaround time corresponding with my event date is subject to change due to various events that could delay Pressed Floral's delicate preservation process. This includes but is not limited to a flower reorder.
- I understand that the Bloom Shipping Box can only be refunded 50%, subject to the box being returned unused. If the box can not be returned unused, it is not eligible for a refund.
- I understand that if I ship my blooms on my own terms, without Shipping or Bloom Protection, Pressed Floral is not responsible for any damage to my blooms that may occur during shipping or for any packages lost or delayed in transit. If incidents occur, Pressed Floral will not be responsible for the value of the blooms or own term shipping costs.
- I understand that the Bloom Shipping Box comes with a specific overnight shipping label and must be dropped off at a matching location. If this is disregarded and the package is dropped off at another shipping carrier's location, I understand that this may delay my package on its way to Pressed Floral.
Section 2: Preservation
- I understand that Pressed Floral is an all-natural preservation company, and flowers fade and change color/shade and appearance during and after the preservation process. Pressed Floral does not use artificial colors, dyes, or preservatives to color-correct the blooms. Blooms will continue to fade and brown over time. Read more.
- I understand that my bouquet will be preserved within the condition that it is received.
- I understand that any wires, adhesives, pins, or other ways of securing my blooms used by my florist may render them unworkable.
- I understand that if my bouquet is unworkable due to bugs or mold, it cannot be returned to me and will be discarded.
- I understand that if my bouquet arrives and is deemed unworkable by Pressed Floral, I will be provided options moving forward. One being to cancel the order and receive a refund.
- I understand that faux blooms sent to Pressed Floral can only be included in Pressed Frames if they can be pressed very thin. If they are included in the design, I understand that they will appear differently over time compared to the real flowers in the design.
Section 3: Design
- I understand that not all my blooms will be used due to thickness, flower condition, or lack of space in the frame.
- I understand that Pressed Floral’s designers may resize my frame to fit the flowers provided if the ordered frame is too big. I will be reimbursed for the difference in frame sizes.
- I understand that by purchasing my Pressed Floral piece, I give the artist assigned by Pressed Floral complete creative liberty to design the floral frame. "Customizations" will be considered by the artist, but the artist is not bound by the terms of any "customization."
- I understand that Pressed Floral has the right to seal and safely package my piece within two months of requesting approval for my finished design and not receiving communication from the client.
- I understand that once my blooms have completed the preservation processes, they cannot be returned to me unless included in a sealed frame.
- Shadow Box: I understand that my Shadow Box does not require prior approval before it is shipped to me.
- Shadow Box: I understand that my Shadow Box design may appear different than other examples due to the amount and type of blooms included.
- Shadow Box: I understand that it is my designer’s discretion to design my Shadow Box in the way they think will look best, and if I would like to suggest specific comments or inspiration photos, it must be done upon the blooms’ arrival at our shop.
- Shadow Box: I understand that some dried blooms may not be able to be used in my Shadow Box design due to various factors, including, but not limited to, their condition, the way in which they dried, or the fact that there are more than enough blooms for the size of the frame.
Section 4: Fulfillment of Frame to Client
- I understand that no changes, including frame color or material, can be made once the frame is sealed shut.
- I understand that my order cannot be shipped to me until all outstanding balances have been paid.
- I understand that if I want to change my shipping address before my frame is shipped, I am responsible for contacting Pressed Floral to coordinate this change. Otherwise, my frame will be shipped to the address on file. If this happens and is the incorrect address, Pressed Floral is not responsible for shipping it to the correct address.
- I understand that a signature is required upon delivery of my final frame due to its sentimental value and overall cost to ensure that the correct person receives this piece. If I remove this signature requirement, I understand that I must email Pressed Floral before my order has been shipped.
- I understand that Pressed Floral cannot schedule delivery, change the shipping address, or remove the signature requirement once my frame has been shipped.
- I understand that if my frame is damaged due to carrier shipment, Pressed Floral may send a return label (up to 14 days after the arrival of the frame) to repair the piece. If my frame is damaged due to mishandling or other circumstances, I have an option for frame repair that varies in cost depending on my frame size.
- I understand that Pressed Floral custom products are non-refundable. Should Pressed Floral see that a refund is necessary, they may, in their sole discretion, offer a refund. However, I waive any claim against Pressed Floral, for any amount that is more than what I paid to Pressed Floral.
Section 5: Care for Frame
- I understand that Pressed Floral is an all natural floral preservation company and that my flowers may dull or lose pigment as they are preserved, oxidized, and continue to age.
- I understand that hot and humid climates will affect my flowers and cause them to age more rapidly. This includes kitchens and bathrooms.
- I understand that placing my frame in direct sunlight will also cause the blooms to fade or brown more rapidly.
Section 6: Custom Jewelry
- I understand that my Pressed Floral Necklace/Locket does not require approval before shipping it to me.
- I understand that the resin in my Pressed Floral Necklace/Locket may gradually become an antique amber color.
- I understand that certain blooms cannot be preserved in resin, and those blooms will be replaced by Pressed Floral.
